Federal Court dismisses UM’s leave to appeal against students

Malay Mail | A three-man bench at the Federal Court affirmed the Court of Appeal’s ruling after submissions from UM’s lawyer Datuk Muhammad Adam Abdullah and the students’ counsel Edmund Bon. In 2016, the Shah Alam High Court had ruled that disciplinary proceedings against the UM students were not conducted in accordance with the university’s procedures.
