
Bangladeshi politician to provide ‘expert testimony’ in wrongful detention claim
The Star | Lawyer Kee Shu Min said her client, an opposition politician from Bangladesh, has been released under a special pass issued by the Immigration Department, pending completion of his habeas corpus application. She requested the court to issue a trial notice to facilitate the renewal of the special pass. High Court judge K. Muniandy allowed the application and fixed July 3 for the habeas corpus hearing.
