Embassy of Switzerland in Indonesia | Switzerland reaffirmed its longstanding commitment to promoting and protecting human rights in the ASEAN region and to mainstreaming human rights across sectors. Since 2020, Switzerland and AICHR have worked hand-in-hand on many issues, including torture prevention, freedom of expression, business and human rights, and child rights.
The Edge Malaysia | Amer Hamzah, representing one of the six men sentenced to death, argued that Singapore’s “dual crimes” principle should be applied, whereby in a crime with multiple people, each person can be charged based on their actions and intent.
