The Attorney General’s Chambers of Malaysia has discovered something: It’s no fun prosecuting LoyarBurokkers because on a balance of probabilities they will probably lose, be it on some mind-blowing technicality and definitely at the prima facie stage.

Fresh from its recent educational stint, the Attorney General’s Chambers has understandably withdrawn its final spurious charge against LoyarBurokker Edmund Bon Tai Soon for obstructing a Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur enforcement officer from removing a banner in front of the council office in Jalan Lebuh Pasar at 12.15pm on 9 December 2007 after receiving a scintillatingly worded representation from Edmund Bon’s counsel, Mr M. Puravalen and Amer Hamzah Arshad.

Therefore, on 17 May 2010, Sessions Court judge S.M. Komathy Suppiah gave Edmund a discharge not amounting to an acquittal.

Since LoyarBurok counts a withdrawal as an own-goal, this last case represents a definitive win by them under the present Attorney General. In World Cup parlance the score is:

3 – 0!

Who’s your daddy?!
