The High Court has determined that the government acted illegally, irrationally, and without proper consultation with the Poisons Board when it delisted liquid and gel nicotine products from the Poisons List back in 2023. At the time, the government justified this by saying the resulting revenue could be channelled to health initiatives. We get into the significance of this with lawyer Kee Shu Min.
