The government has dropped its appeal against a High Court ruling that found the 2023 decision to remove liquid and gel nicotine from the Poisons List unlawful. The court had ruled that the move was irrational and made without adequate consultation with the Poisons Board. We speak to lawyer Kee Shu Min about what the next steps would be for the government and what the decision means for the regulation and sale of nicotine-containing vape products.
