Edmund Bon appointed to Special Committee for alternatives to death penalty

Edmund Bon Tai Soon has been appointed to the Government’s “Special Committee to Study Alternative Sentences to the Mandatory Death Penalty”.

The first meeting was held on 20 September 2019 and the Committee has three months to complete its work.

Edmund is collecting views to inform his work on the Committee and invites all interested civil society organisations, academics, experts, activists and others to provide input by sending submissions in writing to [email protected].
